Harvesting
Almond Harvest begins when the nuts have hulls that have split open to expose the in-shell almond inside. Large machines shake the almond trees and the in-shell almond with the hulls are then collected from the ground.
Hulling
The pre-cleaner removes farm debris such as rocks other foreign material from the almonds. The almonds are then passed screening that separate the hulls from the in-shell almond.
Shelling
After removing the hulls, almonds enter the shelling process where shell crackers gently remove the nut from the shell. The nuts are then graded, handpicked and packed.
